Thaddeus David drops a lot of music. Little projects here and there until his full length albums come into fruition. His latest EP takes him into a concept he hoped to achieved. He teamed up with the production trio known as SSA (DJ Semaj, BlakMic, & 1stborn) for a four-track EP. His idea is that these songs have a classic feel to them, and Parallels can be listened to multiple times with new gems being discovered (almost) each time. With all the music he does release, having these types of themes or concepts is essential to keep the listeners interested. It’s safe to say that he did half his goal with the classic vibe to the records (the other part of his goal can’t be judged yet).
Parallels clocks in at under 10 minutes. “Marvelous” deserved more than a minute and some change. The sole guest feature comes from Tacoma’s Leezy Soprano. Grab the EP below.
